Rollyn Klassy Moore developed a deep love for music early in his life, singing solos since the young age of 6. His aunt Robin (whom he calls his earliest musical influence) would have him sit beside her at the piano and sing with her for hours at a time. She introduced him at church services and family functions, encouraging him to embrace his gift and not be afraid to share it. He did just that, developing into a vocalist, pianist, vocal arranger, and church choir director…..all before the age of 20. His close ties to the church and his ever growing relationship with God convinced him that his talents were not just simply gifts….they had purpose. Witnessing lives being changed and spirits being uplifted through the sharing of his gifts, Rollyn has accepted the responsibility of spreading love & hope, and bringing people closer to God through praise & worship.
Many years of struggle and growth through various seasons of his life have brought Rollyn to the place he is today. He has shared the stage with world renown artists and entertainers; including Donny McClurkin, Ron Winans, Timothy Wright, Isaac Hayes, and Cedric the Entertainer. He has served as minister of music, workshop director, and choir arranger both nationally and internationally. He was invited to audition at the world famous Apollo Theater in 1991. He even formed and recorded with his own group, ANUWAI.
Also a minister, Rollyn pastored New Hope Church (St. Louis, MO) for 6 years, before becoming dedicated to music full time. Equipped with a unique brand of music, which he calls “Inspirational Soul”, along with a passionate vocal delivery (described by Gospel music artist Kirk Franklin as “crazy”), and adopting his childhood nickname,
“Rahlo” is poised to share his music with the world, going as far as God is willing to take him.
