Good Ole Girls Club

This event is about women in Sacramento coming together to create Global Change in our fashion and beauty industry. Our local rising star Latiya Gholar will soon inspire millions of hearts around the world through her story of empowerment of turning her pain into her power to heal women around the world through Modest Fashion.

Latiya Gholar is the first fashion designer from Sacramento to go on a World Tour promoting her brand American Umma. The tour will start at London Fashion Week and Scotland in February. In Scotland she is headlining a fashion show with two other designers at the Glamis Castle. The Glamis Castle was the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth and Shakespeare wrote Macbeth at this Castle. Royalty and elites from around the world are expected to be in attendance.

American Umma will set trends of making modest fashion cool, a world where our sisters are covered fashionably and do not have to worry about being cat called.

Support and sponsorship’s are very much needed to make this tour happen for Latiya and her team. Many of her models have been affected by the government shutdown.

Zion Taddess owner of Queen Sheba has graciously opened her restaurant to host this fundraiser, we ask that each women bring 5 women donations for this event are $100 per person. If you are not able to contribute in financially, can you assist with volunteering behind the scenes?

When women come together, we create changes that disrupt systems of oppression. Its going to take a village of women supporting Latiya’s vision of disrupting the Global Fashion Industry. Join the AU Nation Movement.
