ThePostmOn started DJing reggae music in the early ‘90s, and held Reno’s longest-running club DJ reggae night, Rasta Sessions. He later parlayed those club sets into the nine-years-running public radio [KUNR 88.7 FM] show Reggae Fi’Real. Anthony’s long-enduring fascination with world music led him to create and host World Spins; as well as The Dub Zone, reflecting his interests in reggae dub, and the many offshoots of electronic music. The five-hours-weekly of specialty original radio programming gave Anthony invaluable experience presenting music, through the arrangement of hundreds of varied sets.
2015/2016 has seen many varied collaborations in ThePostmOn’s beloved yoga-sphere, with him bringing DJ sets, acoustic guitar-vocal sets, and original instrumental musical sets (as featured in Mandala Mantra) to yoga workshops and special events.
ThePostmOn continues to present reggae and dub, widely travelled global beats, deep dubstep, world and afro house, and more to his residencies and happenings, always weaving the golden threads of Global Bass Culture through his sets—ancient traditions meet future beats.
Music conscious and expansive—sound selections for the spirit and the soul.
