Chef Marrien Short started his love of baking at an early age by watching his father make candies and desserts in the kitchen. He continued this passion by attending Johnson & Wales in Rhode Island and getting his degree as a Pastry Chef in 1985. He worked in both small and large facilities like the Opryland Hotel, honing his craft and adding many new desserts to his repertoire. Over the many years since, whether full time or on the side, Chef Marrien has found a way to continue to make pastries, candies, cakes and confections with his own unique artistic flare, bringing joy to everyone on the receiving end!
