Originally from Ecuador, Carolina Garzón, with a Fine Arts degree, is an international artist best known for her abstract works with mixed media, oils and acrylics on canvas. She bases her work on the combination and movement of colors using various methods of contemporary and abstract art. The artist believes each of her pieces of art provides a unique dialogue with the observer, allowing the viewer to be immersed into what Carolina refers to as a “Journey through color”. Carolina’s art is nonrepresentational. Therefore, each piece is given a more seductive connotation, by naming them after semi-precious stones in order to not limit the imagination of the viewer. Carolina’s art is known in South America as well as her home country of Ecuador. Her art has become respected by collectors in Canada and now USA where some of her best pieces are being showed in several states including Colorado, Minnesota, Connecticut, New York and now Florida. Her works are displayed in galleries, art shows and exhibitions all year round.
