The Restaurant’s founders and owners, Chef Robert and Line Barral, are both originally from the Provence/Languedoc area, and they share a taste for fine food and travel. Having lived and worked in at least three countries, Robert and Line have settled in the historic town of Brandon. Chef Robert’s culinary path has landed him in key positions at some of the finest restaurants in the world, and when he was offered a position at the New England Culinary Institute as their Executive Chef, the family decided to make the move. Dedicated not only to presenting the freshest food in a creative and engaging way, Chef Robert is also a great teacher. If you live in the area, you’ve probably seen him on WCAX-TV making his award-winning Chocolate Bombe or other tasty treats. He takes that passion for sharing what he knows and applies it every day at the restaurant. Every Monday, Chef offers cooking classes that explore the classic french techniques used to make many of the restaurant’s entrées and desserts.
