Born and raised in Nashville TN, Rachel is a vibrant acoustic singer-songwriter that has been entertaining crowds since the age of three with songs ranging from classic rock to pop. The musical talent that Rachel has should come as no surprise; her mom grew up performing in the theater and her dad is a professional drummer. She credits her musical influences to artists such as Ed Sheeran, P!nk, Hozier, and Tracy Chapman, or as she likes to call them, “The artists with the most soul”. She loves collaborating with others when writing and performing but can also command a stage in her own right, opening up for Sammy Hagar at the Wildhorse Saloon and Miranda Lambert at the Fontanel Mansion. Some of her favorite places she’s performed at were the Parthenon, the Hard Rock Cafe, and Scoreboard Bar and Grill on Music Valley Drive. Specializing in singing a versatility of covers, she also writes her own original acoustic music, and her songs have been featured at a 3rd and Lindsley Nashville Backstage event, along with many other writer’s rounds.
Rachel has composed a multitude of medleys as well; her arrangements were all taught to individual music classes by herself and then selected to be performed at various recitals, talents shows, and school performances throughout the year. Her favorite project she has released is her new album, “Split Ends”, out now on iTunes, Spotify, CDBaby and other music distribution agencies. She would like to thank her family and her teachers for believing in her enough to make this project happen. She is scheduled to record her next album in August, featuring as she states, “bigger and better songs”.
