Chemradery. It’s not a word in the English dictionary, but it might very well make it there if this band has anything to say about it. Led by vocalist Gregory Scot Dyer, and guitarist Ivan Alexander, Chemradery came about when two innovative minds merged their passion for music together, to create a sound that would not only inspire, but leave a lasting impression; on themselves and the listener. All of Chemradery’s members are seasoned musicians in their own right. Gregory had spent several years singing professional Opera with the Palm Beach Opera Company. Ivan performed with multiple touring acts, and worked as a session guitarist. In the midst of performing around parts of Southern Florida with their respective bands and projects, the band began songwriting sessions. Instantly, the ‘Chemradery’ began to take shape. The chemistry and camaraderie was evident every time they got together to create music. Chemradery has opened the Special Olympics (15′) ‘Relay Across America’ Torch Ceremony, headlined the 4th On Flagler Independence Day Festival; sharing the stage with The Voice’s Jacquie Lee, were the featured entertainment at the Honda Classic Awards Ceremony with world-renown saxophonist, Kenny G., been the supporting act for Fuel at The Cutlure Room.
Chemradery has been billed for Vanilla Ice’s Annual Block Party, played 97.9 WRMF’s No Snowball Concert with Adam Lambert and Third Eye Blind, performed on the main stage at Sunfest 2017, opening up for Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. And they’ve also shared the stage with R&B legend, Mr. Brian Mcknight, at the 2017 Taste Of Soul Festival. Their debut single, ‘Hard As You Can,’ made its U.S radio debut in July 2016. Melodic verses and choruses, simplistic; yet memorable lyrics about the positives and negatives of everyday life, and tasteful instrumentation that tie it all together. That is Chemradery. The fellowship, interaction, and common bond of everyday people, whose sole purpose is to tell a story through their music; a story that you can’t stop reading. That is Chemradery.
