With over 50 years of entertainment experience behind him, Frank James, has become a well polished pro. His warmth and sincerity on and off stage, has endeared him to many country music fans. About 1960 he began singing professionally playing clubs and shows that featured future stars such as, Bobby G. Rice and Joe Sun. Frank James was a featured singer on a weekly sunday live radio show broadcast on WMAD AM from the Park Ponderosa Ballroom in Madison, Wisconsin. He has met and/or worked with many of country music’s legends such as Merle Haggard, Jack Greene, Jeannie Seely, Faron Young, Hank Snow, Red Sovine, Jean Shepard, David Houston, Hank Thompson, Ernie Ashworth and soon Bobby Bare. He has taken his music career from backstage with Merle Haggard to center stage winning numerous awards along the way. Of 2,200 auditions, Frank James was 1 of only 48 performers selected to appear on the first season of the “Shotgun Red Variety Show” on the RFD TV network in 2011. Since then he’s been offered numerous opportunities to appear on the “Midwest Country” Show which also airs on the RFD TV network.
