Rosibel Ramirez

Rosibel’s artwork concentrates in glass art and sculpture. She has dedicated extensively to fine arts, working with a variety of media throughout her career. Rosibel was born and raised in Venezuela in an artistic environment where her mother and grandfather guided her first steps into Art. She moved with her family to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1994, where she found her way in a new town and was much more of a foreign culture. While living in Oklahoma, Rosibel earned a scholarship at Ben D. Floyd Museum School at Philbrook Museum of Art. She also worked as an assistant to professional artists, working in life-size to monumental bronze sculptures and interned as a curator assistant at the Glassell School of Art – The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Rosibel also studied at Florida Atlantic University, where she had a great input for her artistic vein and later successfully graduated from The University of Tulsa, with a Magna Cum Laude degree in Fine Arts, with an emphasis in sculpture and a minor in art history. Houston is now her hometown, the place where she works and gets inspired. Rosibel has exhibited her work internationally and has been selected for group and solo exhibitions. She is a proud member of National Sculpture Society and Glass Art Society. Her work is shown in both public and private collections.
