Andrew Pham
A sensitive and thoughtful musician, Andrew Pham has had many diverse musical experiences, especially as a collaborative pianist. Currently a resident of Eugene, Oregon, he freelances as an accompanist and teaches piano independently. As a frequent collaborator with vocalists, he enjoys dialoguing with singers about the relationship between text and music as a means to achieve nuanced artistic expression. He studied at the University of Oregon (M.M. Collaborative Piano),
Indiana University (M.M. Piano Performance), and James Madison University (B.M. Piano Performance and Music Composition).? Andrew’s primary piano teachers include David Riley, Alexandre Dossin, Jean-Louis Haguenauer, Gabriel Dobner, Eric Ruple, and Victoria Wyatt. He studied composition with Jason Haney and John Hilliard.
