If a picture is worth a thousand words, Tal Campbell has indeed managed to master the art of photographic language. He uses his artistic gift to bring out the best in his subjects with a simple click of the camera. Much like a master sculptor, skillfully crafting his creation with his hands, Mr. Campbell believes, with each of his photographs, that he is molding an exquisite work of art. His photos display an array of elegant and beautiful portraiture, events and models.
Mr. Campbell was introduced to the world of photography in 1976, and has been snapping pictures since that time. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, he spent three years in the army, stationed in Ft. Campbell, KY. His military travel took him as far away as Panama. After his tour of duty, he worked in corporate computer sales. He decided to pursue his love for photography full time in 1992. Mr. Campbell’s virtual studio is an impressive creation of special lighting techniques plus years of experience and talent that allows him to be capable of creating intricate and innovative signature portraits for his clients. His studio is equipped with the latest digital computer and photography equipment, enabling him to do minor touch-ups and create custom photo CD’s.
Tal Campbell’s attention to detail includes; flattering lighting, which brings out the best features of his subjects, pre-shoot interviews, which allow him to best address the needs of each client, and location scouting. He is familiar with a myriad of landscapes and architectural sights in the North Texas area. His extensive knowledge and experience enables him to select the best sites for client photo shoots. Mr. Campbell has seamlessly made the transition to digital photography, allowing him to produce a clearer, sharper image in half the time of traditional photography, and eliminating the need for excessive touch-ups. Mr. Campbell has photographed such notable personalities as Bishop T.D. Jakes, Emmit Smith, Deion Sanders, actress Diahann Carroll, Susan L. Taylor, Miss Texas 2003, Drew Pearson and others.
