Growing up in the small town of Joshua, Texas, graduating from Joshua HS, then the University of North Texas, Hailey Erin always had an ear for country music. Ranging from Hank Jr. to Eric Church, she loves both old and more modern styles of country. With a voice so powerful that can be described as a mix between Patsy Cline and Miranda Lambert and musical compositions between Nashville and Red Dirt, Hailey Erin creates a sound of her own to entertain folks looking for a good time. From the moment her daddy two-stepped her to sleep to Alan Jackson, Hailey Erin was bound to be involved in music. This was only to be even more confirmed when she received her first toy microphone on her fourth Christmas and sang along to her favorite Patsy Cline hits. At age seven, she received her first guitar and learned her first four chords that started the dream. idol, Miranda Lambert, showed her that not everyone gets caught up in the “Hollywood” crowd. Her fans know that at each performance, she “starts with Miranda and ends with Miranda”.
Hailey has been given amazing opportunities to work with composer and producer Ty Macklin, a multi-platinum, Grammy award winner who has been instrumental in the music of Erykah Badu and Indi Arie, and Mike Cummings of 2nd Step Management, who for several years was her personal manager after discovering Hailey Erin as a young finalist in the DFW Idol competition. Hailey is involved with the Johnson County Children’s Advocacy Center and their Cowboys for Kids event each year where she has had the opportunity to work with some amazing artists, such as, The One and Only, Ronnie Milsap and the incredible Aaron Watson. Hailey has also been blessed to work with other Texas country artists such as Kyle Park, Austin and singing along side Mr. Sonny Burgess. Her performance at the Arlington MusicHall, formally Johnnie High’s Country Music Review is one of her most treasured memories.
Hailey Erin’s goal is to show today’s youth that anything you chose do can impact someone’s life. Hailey is now teaching for Keller ISD. She wants to show kids that even though she is chasing after her dream, she finished her education, received her college degree and has a career she loves. Even though she has a career teaching, Hailey Erin’s biggest dream to sing at the Grand ‘Ole Opry alongside Miranda Lambert has not changed. Her love of being on stage and being able to share her talent with other people is what keeps her drive alive.
