Christopher Martinez studied flute performance at the University of North Texas College of Music. During his 4 years there he was a Verizon Scholarship and George Morey Flute School Scholarship recipient. He served 3 years as the piccolo player for the UNT Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Anshel Brusilow (2004 – 2007) as well as piccolo player for the North Texas Wind Symphony under the direction of Eugene Corporon (2006 – 2007). He was member of the Quadrivium Quartet for 3 years (2003 – 2006) with performances at UNT, SMU, Rice, Western Illinois University, Eastern Ilinois University, Sherwood Conservatory, Kansas City Convention Center and Brookhaven College. He currently teaches flute in the Dallas area and performs as a member of the Meridian Chamber Players.
