I’m Tiffany, a harpist-singer based in Northeast Ohio.
When I fell in love with the harp in 2007, I knew there was no looking back! Today, I do concerts adding my own unique touches to traditional and modern music. I also play music for weddings, business functions and private parties. Whether you need music for an everyday occasion – or themed such as St. Patrick’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas or a church event – I’m happy to add just the right touch with my repertoire. Check out my listening page for more samples, and don’t forget to download your free mp3 by signing up to my email list!
You can come hear me play regularly at the West Side Irish American Club open mic on the 2nd Saturday of the month. I can also be heard at certain services at Berea Baptist Church (250 West St. Berea, Ohio), as well as the Ohio Scottish Games on the last Saturday of June.
Some people think the harp is a very hard and inaccessible instrument: that they need thousands of dollars to buy one, or that it takes years of lessons from childhood on to be able to enjoy playing it well. I believe just the opposite!
There are many affordable options for owning or renting a harp, and I know countless people who have begun learning as an adult (myself included). If you’ve always dreamed of playing the harp, read about my private lessons in Cuyahoga County or on video chat anywhere in the world. If you’re not quite ready for lessons yet, you might like my free harp tutorials and educational videos on YouTube. I also teach group harp workshops.
I’ve studied harp at the Ohio Scottish Arts School under many wonderful master harpers, and for most of my harp career have competed in Scottish Harp Society of America sanctioned competitions. Here I was honored to be awarded first place in the Master category in 2012 and 2013, as well as first place in the Harp and Vocal category for several years.
Nothing makes me happier than connecting with people through music – there’s nothing quite like it!
