Kimberly Rachelle is originally from Carson City, Nevada, currently living in Chico, California. Kimberly began her pursuit of creating art in 2004. She is constantly striving to find inspiration in the little things. After 13 years in medical and retail management, she decided to pursue her passion for creating art. Kimberly studied studio art at Montana State University in 2001-2002 and CSU: Chico in 2007-2008 before facing a life changing diagnosis.
After several years of fighting for her health, she went back to creating art and making her way in the profession. She is currently a committee member for the Healing Art Gallery for Enloe Cancer Center and functions as the online promotions coordinator and curator of each show. She feels it is important to give back to a place that helped her so much during a difficult time that began in 2008.
In 2015, she went back to school and has since obtained two Associates degrees from Butte College: Business Administration and Studio Arts.
She is now pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Business Project Management at CSUC and serving as an Art Commissioner for the City of Chico.
Besides pursuing her own art career she hopes to be an advocate for the public arts through work in arts administration.
