Jen Aldana is a Boston based singer-songwriter and worship leader. She started writing and playing music at the age of 7 and has had the opportunity to tour with American Idol winner Kris Allen, perform at Apollo Theater, and sing for several fundraisers, functions, and special events. She received a full-tuition scholarship to Berklee College of Music and graduated with a degree in Songwriting. Upon the release of her debut EP “Voices”, Jen was recognized as VENT’s Magazine’s “Top 10: Boston Bands”. Her song “Cherish You” was featured on Boston Marathon based short-film “Monster”, and was chosen for several songwriting showcases. She has had her music featured on local radio stations such as Mixx 104.1 and 92.9 the River, and was also invited to sing for the mayor. Jen is also a Worship Leader and Women’s Group Leader at Impact Church in Medford, MA. Impact is pastored by United Night of Worship (UNOW) founder, Pastor Zenzo Matoga. She has been singing worship music in church since the age of 14, and is passionate about leading. She is actively asked to speak and sing at different churches and retreats, and enjoys sharing her testimony to encourage others. Aside from music, Jen also has a passion for working with youth and being an advocate for self-expression through the arts. She works with youth in the city and teaches voice and songwriting, among various things. Jen is currently working on her sophomore album. Expect to hear new music from her in 2018.
