Jen Adams is a multi-talented entertainer. A comedian, magician, and writer, Jen has been performing on stage since she was a teenager. Part storytelling and part social commentary, her unguarded comedic style is both fearless and refreshing to audiences from all walks of life. Her show ranges from deep and heartwarming to irreverent and hilariously absurd. Whether you are laughing at her jokes or being amazed by her Magic, you won’t be disappointed if you make it your business to see her do what she does best: Entertain. Jen first began her career as an apprentice to her Father, Magician Jack Adams. Together they entertained audiences all up and down the east coast. They performed annually at the Famous Westbury Music Fair and The Papermill Playhouse, the Promenade Theater on Broadway, and once performed at Lincoln Center with a 60 piece Orchestra playing their music, live. After her father’s passing, Jen moved to Las Vegas where she was a resident magician at Caesar’s Palace for several years. She started touring the country and has made appearances in the San Francisco International Comedy Festival, The Mile High Comedy Festival in Denver, CO, Idaho Laugh Fest, and the newly minted 208 Comedy Festival in Boise, ID, where she now calls home. She is the co-founder, artistic director and host of the Yum-Yum Comedy Hour variety show, which has a regular cast of talented performers and produces a new show each month. Jen is also the creator of the Children’s Magic Theater program and has taught magic to Youth in San Diego, Ca, Austin, TX, and New York City. She is a published writer and founder of New Vaudeville Productions. In 2013 she launched the “Boise’s Funniest Person’ contest to sold out crowds and it has become a yearly fixture at Liquid Laughs in Boise, ID.
