My absolute passion is food. Since I was a young girl I have always loved eating the great food the women in my family always cooked. To this day, whenever my aunt is in the kitchen, I cling to her every move, watching and tasting everything she makes. When I realized I too could cook great food, and not just eat it, my love affair with food only intensified. With such an intense passion for food as art, it was no surprise that I chose to major in Hotel and Restaurant Management in undergraduate school, with a focus in Culinary Arts. Since college I have worked my way through the kitchen and even into the classroom as a Culinary Arts Teacher. Even with years of experience in the food and hospitality industry, I feel as though I’m just getting started. And I couldn’t be more excited about it! Keedra’s Kitchen’s mission is to integrate culture and cuisine by offering delicious Southern fusion cuisines, exceptional customer service, all while fulfilling the social responsibility of a business owner within the communities in which it serves. We are a Private Chef service entity that strives to offer a unique and enjoyable dining experience. Keedra’s Kitchen is a brand that strives to build community and future leaders, which is seen in the fabric of Keedra’s Kitchen as she is very intentional with hiring and training local high school Culinary Art students, and using the hospitality industry to mentor them to be responsible, set life fulfilling goals, and mature into upstanding citizens of their community.
