Adam Horin

Adam HorinI am a doctoral student in the Movement Science Program at WashU in St. Louis. My main interest is in music and our health. My current research investigates various methods of rhythmic auditory cueing to improve gait in people with movement disorders such as Parkinson disease. I received a BS Adam Horinin Neurobiology & Physiology from Purdue University and an MA in Audio Technology from American University. As an undergraduate I conducted research on neurotoxic models of PD and as a master’s candidate I conducted research on music cognition which led me to an interest in music and neurological disorders. I am also a musician and enjoy writing and producing my own songs in my free time.
