Kristin is a fourteen-year veteran of world-wide touring and recording as a fiddler, proficient classical player/sight-reader, and singer, having played with major country and pop artists as well as bluegrass bands and indie rock. She’s written string arrangements and recorded on numerous records since moving to Nashville in 2008 after graduating with a degree in music from Berklee College of Music. She’s performed with Dolly Parton, Eminem, Lorde, Kacey Musgraves, Lee Ann Womack, Cage The Elephant, Evanescence, Midland, Trampled By Turtles, Eric Church, The Lone Bellow, Langhorne Slim, Ron Pope, Augustana/Dan Layus, Michael Bublè, Dave Rawlings Machine, Jody Stevens/Big Star, The Greencards, Margo Price, Gill Landry, Francesca Battistelli, My So Called Band, among others.
She’s recorded strings for the live shows of Lauryn Hill, H.E.R. for B.E.T Awards, Toni Braxton for A.M.A’.s.
