I am currently a freelance photographer covering everything from photojournalism and corporate work to wedding photography. For the past 12 years I was the staff photographer for Cardinal Seán P. O’Malley and the Archdiocese of Boston, where my responsibility was to document the faith of the nearly 2 million Catholics in Boston both thru still images and video. Prior to this, I was a staff photographer for the Boston Herald for almost 20 years and have had my work published in numerous publications around the world. I am a past president of the Boston Press Photographer’s Association (the oldest press photographers association in the country) a title I was very honored to be elected to for four years.
As a photojournalist, my assignments have ranged from covering the homeless on the street to presidential vacations on Martha’s Vineyard as well as being the first photojournalist from Boston to be on scene to cover the tragedy of 9-11 as it unfolded. I truly enjoy capturing life’s special moments and look forward to what the next days bring and who I will photograph thru my lens.
On weekends, I enjoy capturing the love couples share by photographing their weddings. The Boston Herald proclaimed
