Christy’s passion for both makeup and art was apparent from a very young age. Whether it was her lipstick drawings on furniture as a toddler, a line of fellow campers standing outside her cabin door waiting for makeup applications at kid’s camp, or her pleads to attend her high school cosmetology program at the age of 14, it was obvious where Christy’s future would lead – makeup artistry. In 1997 Christy decided to dip her toes into freelance by doing makeup for weddings while working for Elizabeth Arden and Estee Lauder. In 2010 she took the leap and moved into freelance makeup artistry as a full-time
career. She has since formed her own award-winning bridal makeup business, Christy Co, and works independently as a freelance artist. Her work has been seen in print advertisements, newspapers, magazines, runway shows and on television.
Christy is recognized for her wide range of artistic ability, from flawless bridal beauty to avant-garde editorial fashion and everything in between. She keeps herself on the cutting-edge of style and techniques in the industry, specializing in both traditional and airbrush makeup applications geared towards high definition (HD) photography and film.
In her spare time, Christy enjoys spending her days with her husband, daughter, and menagerie of pets. She loves to spend time outdoors, kayaking, hiking, enjoying nature and the overall beauty in life. Christy resides in Sturbridge, MA, works throughout southern New England and is available for travel.
