Helen Hawley

Helen Hawley is a visual artist whose works include sculptures, prints, paintings, and video. Her work will be shown in the 2019 Wisconsin Triennial at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Madison, WI. She has exhibited at the James Watrous Gallery, WI, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, TN, James Patterson University, NJ, and the Flux Factory, NY. She was an artist in residence at the Vermont Studio Center, VT, Wassaic Artist Residency, NY, and Waaw in Saint Louis, Senegal. Special live projects include collaborations with Willy Street Chamber Players and Bach Dancing and Dynamite in Madison, WI. She studied at Rhode Island School of Design and received a graduate fellowship from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Born in Missouri, she currently lives in Madison, WI and teaches drawing at Beloit College.
