Born and raised in Augusta, GA, Laura had an early love for beauty and makeup. She began pursuing her passion for makeup artistry in 2002. She was trained by professionals from MAC cosmetics and worked freelance for brides and models. Over the years, Laura has developed close working relationships with some of the industries best stylists, photographers, and video production companies. Along with designers and brides, she has had the opportunity to work with some celebrities, speakers, and authors. Her work has been featured in a variety of popular bridal magazines and editorial ads. Makeup Artistry has also led Laura to start an initiative to educate women on safe cosmetic ingredients and teach makeup instructional classes. She has a strict policy on the brands she uses, to make sure the cleanest products are applied on her client’s skin. She promotes these

Laura has a passion for the Charleston Wedding Industry and currently Owns and Operates, “Silhouette On Site,” which is a team of elite MUAs and Bridal Hairstylists serving the Charleston area. Laura is also a Pro Artist with Temptu Airbrush makeup and continues to attend advanced makeup education classes to stay on top of trends and new products within the industry. Laura has built a career and life in the Charleston area. She lives there with her husband and three boys.
