William Underwood III

William Underwood III is an American flutist from Detroit, MI and has earned two degrees: a B.S. in music (Florida A&M University) and a M.Mus. in Flute Performance (Wayne State University). He applies his learned techniques to all musical genres, including original works, in attempts to make music accessible to all. An advocate of inclusion, William uses his platform to perform in traditional and non-traditional arenas. He has toured Japan extensively with Kyodo Tokyo Incorporated and their productions of Blast! The Music of Disney and One Piece Oto Utage over the past three years. William regularly performs as a solo, chamber, studio and orchestral musician.
