Marie Krick
I’m Marie Krick. I’m the founder of Laurel and Vine. I live in Novato, California with my husband, Travis. We’re only slightly obsessed with our two cats, Charlie and Olivia. Novato is located in North Marin County, about 30 minutes north of San Francisco. It is gorgeous here. If you’re not from around here, come visit! When I’m not slinging flowers, you can find me swimming, hiking, singing, cooking with my husband, snuggling with my cats, or exploring new restaurants with my friends. When I was a little girl, my parents hosted a lot of Sunday dinners. Before the guests arrived, my mom would send me out into her garden with a pair of scissors. It was my job to create a floral centerpiece for the dinner table. I LOVED that challenge and that is what sparked the floral fire within me! Summer of 2016 is when I decided to take that fire and transform it into a career and business. I haven’t regretted that decision since and consider it a privilege to be a floral designer. I specialize in wedding and event flowers. I believe celebrating life’s milestones is important.
