Kelly Hagan

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Kelly Hagan has a Bachelor of Music degree in Commercial Violin Performance from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Both a committed studio artist and performer, Kelly has contributed to dozens of recordings and live performances since her arrival to Nashville in 2013.
Kelly is classically trained, having studied classical violin privately with several members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra throughout her middle school and high school years. She was a member of the Emory Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Woodward Academy String Machine Honors Orchestra, with leadership positions in both ensembles.
Within the past four years, Kelly has studied classical violin with Elisabeth Small, and traditional fiddle styles and bluegrass with Tammy Rogers-King and Buddy Spicher. Additionally, she has also studied commercial voice with Kathy Chiavola and Stephanie Adlington. She has been a part of multiple Belmont ensembles, including Southbound, University Symphony Orchestra, and World Fiddle Ensemble. Kelly has also accompanied artists in several showcases at Belmont, including country and pop showcases in the CEMB Showcase Series, and several of the School of Music’s Commercial Music Showcases.
In addition to working on recording sessions for vocalists and other artists at studios such as RCA, Blackbird, Station West, and Oceanway, Kelly has toured with the award-winning acoustic gospel group High Road. She has also played on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers.
