Jennifer Fontanella

I’m a maker of clay things, mostly modern colorful ceramic pieces for the home and garden. A life split between functional work & wall art; minimalist design, clean lines, and playful colors characterize my work. Everything is made by hand, in very small, very slow, batches. My love of ceramics began at age 16 – the first time I touched clay I felt an immediate connection and knew we had to be life partners. While I always adored and loved ceramics, I pursued a career in the Advertising industry for 7 years. I left my career in 2013 and have been a full time Ceramist ever since, couldn’t be happier! Originally from a beach town in Southern California, I currently live in Overland Park, Kansas with my wild little boy, a crazy dog and an amazing husband. I’m a full time mom and a full time maker. Outside of the studio I’m an ethnic food junkie, craft beer lover, traveler, yoga connoisseur and nature enthusiast. I have big dreams for what this all can become, and I can’t tell you how happy I am that you’re a part of it.
