I’m a wedding photographer based in Madison, Wisconsin. My photographic style uses natural light to capture bright colors, lovely candid moments, and beautiful portraits. Along with photographing unique weddings and engagements, I enjoy photographing other lifestyle moments such as families, children’s milestones, and seniors. I like traveling, going to concerts, watching the Cubs, eating delicious food, and I’m all about making the most out of life and trying to remember it all. That’s where photos come in for me.nI absolutely LOVE taking photos. My favorite things to photograph were cities, buildings, and landscapes from my travels (who else has been bitten by the travel bug??), but I also fell in love with capturing memorable moments of people, their families, their milestones and events, and their interactions with this beautiful world. My ideal photographic canvas always starts with bright colors, exciting textures, and hints of sophistication, no matter the subject.
I graduated a few years ago from architecture school but I’ve always been passionate about photography. In fact, when I was a kid I always had a camera in hand and I wanted to be a photographer when I grew up, but then I discovered architecture and historic buildings and fell in love and started my career in architecture. I never lost interest in taking photos, so these days I’m doing both architecture and taking pictures, because why not? Life is short! And it turns out photography and architecture have a lot in common so I like to incorporate my architectural knowledge of spaces and eye for design into my pictures. I’m interested in connecting with clients like you and telling your stories through a combination of candid moments and guided poses. If you are looking for a wedding photographer who is laughing and crying behind the camera along with your guests and treats you like a close friend on your wedding day, I’m your girl. I absolutely love weddings, and each one is unique so I love capturing the thoughtful touches and rollercoaster of emotions on your special day.
