Eileen carey

Eileen Carey is a two-time Los Angeles Music Award winner, a South Bay (L.A.) Music Award recipient, and was called one of Los Angeles’s Top 10 Female Musicians by CBS LA in 2013. Since then Carey has not disappointed. Her current album, Let It Go, her fourth career release, has had three chart singles, with the second, “Bottle Your Crazy Up,” topping all the New Music Weekly Country Charts, resulting in a NMW nomination as Female Country Artist of the Year; along with the A-list women of country music 2015. Among the many charts topped in 2014-2015, and awards nominated for Let It Go, including Best Country/Rock Track of the Year for “Bottle Your Crazy Up,” The Academia Music Award best describes Eileen’s craft as, “A clever country jam … dulcet vocals to superb instrumentation, illustrating one of the most stringent performance standards we’ve encountered.”
Her follow up single, Sweet Love, released in time for this past Spring 2015, further enhanced Eileen’s country reputation and quickly went Top 20 on a number of country blogger charts, online radio charts and the international country music charts; and went to Top 10 on all the New Music Weekly Country Charts in June 2015. This past summer Eileen, besides her usual string of California county fairs and festivals, 6 years running on some (OC Fair, L.A. County, SummerFest/Venice Beach for the Make-A-Wish Foundation San Diego County Fair), headlined a sold-out fundraiser for the non-profit FixNation, a cause very close to Eileen’s heart, the rescue of feral cats and homeless animals, at the legendary Autry in Los Angeles and hosted by Morgan Fairchild. An event visited by a number of celebrities and supported by Jay Leno’s 4 passes to his garage. After having played Summerfest on Venice Beach for the third year in a row Eileen was the Spotlight Artist for the 2014 Fest.
In May of 2014 Eileen, who created the blog called TheMusicMom.com, a portal for information on raising children while rocking the house, was the country music mom representative in a Nick Jr. Docu-comedy called Take Me To Your Mother with actress Andrea Rosen, in an episode that included five other women musicians raising children called ‘Andrea Gets In Tune.’No stranger to Nashville Eileen Carey can almost be seen as a two city girl. She has performed and toured the area for years. This past year alone she showcased at the Country Radio Seminar; and in June she played consecutive night at Toosties and Rippy’s, and greeted her fans at the World Famous Tootsies table all five days of the CMA Festival at the new Music City Convention Hall.
Carey was surrounded by music while growing up in the outskirts of Cleveland, Ohio and became an accomplished drummer by the Age of 13. After growing up a musician who played throughout the region, Carey sensed the need to move on to bigger and better things than her small Ohio town could possibly hold for her so she set off for California in the late 1980s where she eventually studied acting, film and theater. The studying paid off as she has performed roles in films like Hoffa, Basic Instinct and the original Batman film, along with advertising campaigns like her role in one of Ray Charles’ Diet-Pepsi commercials.” In 2012 Eileen was elected as an Artist Ambasador for the salon chain Supercuts which she maintained for two years.
