Ashleigh York is a mixed media artist who currently lives and works in Nashville, Tennessee. Born in California and frequently whisked away on family road trips, Ashleigh was always intrigued by the unique natural landscapes that exist around the country. Taking interest in art at a young age, she has always been interested in colors and how they interact with one another and the feelings they evoke.
The driving creative forces behind her work are bright colors and how colors and shapes are represented in nature. Combining these aspects, Ashleigh uses paper and reclaimed wood to recreate the idea of the typical mosaic.
Ashleigh can currently be found sharing her art at fairs and festivals in the greater Nashville area throughout the year. She has displayed her art at the Tomato Arts Festival, the Franklin Art Scene and her art is a part of many private collections across the United States.
