Stan Bo'(zeman) aka (Stan TheMan) was raised in the metropolitan St. Louis area. He started his musical career dancing and singing as a child in church, on the street corners, school yards-anywhere he could perform. His style of accomplishment includes, smooth ballads,funk, pop,Soul and R&B. Singing and dancing came natural to the young man as he grew up in a house of dancers, singers, and musicians. Stan became so good that his parents would wake him up in the middle of the night to sing and dance. He was inspired by his musical family, which included is uncle, Prince Bozeman Sr. aka Edward Bozeman Sr. one of the fabulous step brothers of all time! and a multitude of other talented artists, including Smokey Robinson, The Temptations, James Brown, Cameo, Earth Wind and Fire, Prince, Michael Jackson, Morris Day and Time, The Isley Brothers, Blue Magic and many others. Stan the Man has performed in talent shows as the Julius Carlos talent show, and worked as a DJ for many fuctions. He has performed for many organizations, social clubs, and hotels for numerous years. Included in his extensive repertoire are jingles he has written for corporate companies, such as Yellow Key and Western Southern Financial Group. He’s written and performed TV commercials for Fay’s Furniture for Channel 11 and managed the local band Fever Funk Band, as well as performed with them. He’s toured with Barbara Carr and Luther Ingram in the 80’s as a back up singer and show opener. Additionally, Stan has performed with New Image Band, Metrofunk, DCW (Distant Cry of the World) Groovadelic,St. Louis Vibrations, Grand Elite, Soul Reunion, The Smash Band, The Pacemakers, The Contours, and The Loose Brothers. In 2008, Stan self released his debut Cd called Stan The Man Finally Unleashed, which he wrote and produced himself. This Cd received rave reviews on several radio and internet stations. He’s appeared on Talk of St. Louis, hosted by Mary One. Recently, he released his new hit single, Yo Love is Like a G.P.S. aired on the Old Harmony Show with Michael Bishop of KDHX 88.1 FM.
