Elizabeth Boyce is the author of eight historical romances, including the Amazon bestseller, Once a Duchess. She delights in crafting strong heroines who defy social convention and the flawed, but worthy, heroes who go to extraordinary lengths for the women they love. Researching her beloved Regency era with a keen eye, Elizabeth blows the dust out of the period’s overlooked nooks and crannies. Her books take readers from sweltering kitchens, to cemeteries rife with gangs of grave robbers, and across the world to Siam. Elizabeth’s attention to nuanced characters, enthusiastically consensual sexuality, and historical integrity brings to her stories what one reader calls “the winning E. Boyce combination of historical insight, feminist gusto, smoldering passion, and compelling storytelling.” Critics, too, are taking note of her uncommon approach to Regency-set romance. “Intriguing and unique Boyce is highly recommended for historical romance lovers.” (Library Journal) In D’Tale Magazine notes, “Ms. Boyce tackles social ills in a powerful way without being overtly didactic, tough subjects integral to the storyline. highly recommended.”
When she isn’t cavorting around the early nineteenth century, Elizabeth enjoys trying her hand at new recipes, practicing yoga, and relaxing with a good Netflix binge. She’s recently gotten hooked on bread making and gets a thrill each time she uses her hand-crafted sourdough starter. Elizabeth lives in South Carolina with her husband, three children, and a forty-pound lap dog.
