Grammy-nominated composer and performer, Deborah Henson-Conant, is best known for revolutionizing and electrifying the harp. She performs her original work as a soloist with symphony orchestras, as a concert soloist, and in her one-woman shows. Henson-Conant has made her own path, composing musical theater since the age of 12, first studying classical harp, then rocking onto the jazz charts in the 80’s, and finally developing the genre-bending, Blues-Flamenco-Celtic-Folk-Jazz story-telling style that defines her shows today. She also teaches, lectures, and publishes internationally. She has released over a dozen CDs and her DVD “Invention & Alchemy” was featured on PBS nationwide.
