I’m Cameron “Cam” Blackwell. I’m currently enrolled at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan working towards my BA in Theatre with a minor in Musical Theatre. I have my heart set on Broadway/Television/Film. I’m 18 years old. I’m a Lactose Intolerant Leo Vegetarian…A bit of a comedian as well. I live in Ferndale, MI where I’ve done many shows at Ferndale High School(Student Enterprise Theatre). And recently, I wrapped up Legally Blonde: The Musical at the
Bonstelle Undergraduate Theatre at Wayne. I am currently in The Tempest by William Shakespeare at the Underground Theatre in Midtown.
I am a founding father/brother of Phi Gamma Delta(“FIJI”) and I am part of the Black Men Network of Wayne State, a network that uplifts men of color and supports their goals. In high school, I was part of Student Council, Gay-Straight Alliance, I was Representative of Thespian Society Troupe #408, Creator/President of The Black History Club, Show Choir,Bel Canto Choir, and I was a winner of the Marcus Lemonis(From the TV show, The Profit) Business Competition last year where I won a nice trip to Orlando.
