Britainé D’czyz is…a Memphis based make-up artist and hair stylist that transcends from local to multi-city artistry. Her passion for hair and makeup began at the age of 18 and she started molding her craft while obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications at Middle Tennessee State University. After graduating, she enrolled at Empire Beauty School, where she received her license in cosmetology in 2015. Britaine’ specializes in Bridal and Editorial makeup sessions and natural hair care services. She is known for her flawless makeovers and long-lasting silk presses. Britaine’ also takes pride in sharing her skills with aspiring makeup artists and everyday women who enjoy learning how to enhance their personal artistry techniques. She offers group classes and one-on-one training sessions based on a client’s need and skill level. Britaine’ is a true lover of music, spoken word, and traveling. Her family, friends, and clients are what she’s most passionate about. With 11 years of experience in the beauty industry, Britaine’ enjoys what she does while giving back to the community. She created platforms for all talented artists and entrepreneurs to come together for the True Beauty Social which features Memphis’s first makeup artist competition called, “The MUA Beat Battle.” A multi-talented mogul in the making, Britiane’ recently launched her own cosmetics line in July of 2017, called “Britaine’ D’czyz Cosmetics.” Her line consists of various products, such as liquid lipsticks and mink
eyelashes. As Britaine’ continues to evolve in her own light, she strives to connect with every client that sits in her chair by building ones confidence from the inside out. Britaine’s artistry has been featured on Essence.com and in several magazines, such as ”The Pink Bride,” and “Beau NU,” magazines. She has been nominated three years in a row for the Best in Black Award and received the Best Makeup Artist Award in 2016. Britaine’ worked alongside other beauty professionals in New York for Full Figured and New York Fashion Week in 2017. Britaine’ s clientele ranges from ages 5 to 95 years old. She has been blessed with opportunity to work with some upscale clients, such as Tweet, P. London, and Juanika Ellis.
