Award winning vocalist Aaron Unthank originally hails from St. Louis, MO. Singing since he could walk, he continues to do what comes naturally. Over the past two decades he has sung from coast to coast across the US in venues far and wide. He studied vocal music at Evangel University, where he began playing piano and writing original songs. He has since collaborated with songwriters from Nashville to Palm Beach. His soulful style was nurtured by his fierce love of gospel music. During a brief stay in Memphis,
TN Aaron spent the summer studying with the first family of Memphis gospel music at the Jackson Studio of Music. Simultaneously, he studied classical technique with a renowned teacher just back from the European opera circuit. Aaron now makes his home in Jacksonville, FL where he is immersed in the soulful jazz and gospel culture and, when not promoting his latest record, he keeps busy playing and singing in local venues and churches.
