Kick Off For Black History Month
In honor of Black History Month
Rising Star Latiya Gholar has been invited to share her story of empowerment at the California State Capitol for the Taste of Africa.
Latiya is a local Fashion Icon, she represents hope for humanity and creating a world that is more inclusive of Women’s Rights. Her clothing line American Umma, specializes in Dope Covered Apparel. Latiya is one of the first designers to travel to London Fashion Week at The House of Ikons Show, followed by London. She will travel to Scotland, to be apart of a fashion show at the Glamis Castle. The Glamis Castle is the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth’s mother.
This will be Latiya Gholar’s first speaking engagement sharing her story of empowerment through fashion.
