Alicia Wallace

Soprano Alicia Wallace, a native of Rochester, NY, has sung with the Fort Worth Opera Chorus, Metroplex Opera Company, Eastman Opera Theater, University of North Texas Opera Theater, Lewisville Civic Chorus, Pultneyville Light Opera Company (NY), Lyric Stage (Irving, TX) and WaterTower Theater in Dallas. She performs a wide variety of roles in both opera, including the Countess in Le nozze di Figaro, First Lady in The Magic Flute, and Alice Ford in Falstaff.
As a concert artist, she has performed in venues throughout the United States, China and Europe, including the Xi’an International Choral Festival held at the Xi’an Conservatory of Music, Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, Scotland, and several venues in the Marche region of Italy. Most recently, Dr. Wallace performed Beethoven’s ?Ah! Perfido, The Four Last Songs by Richard Strauss, Mozart’s Exultate Jubilate, Barber’s Knoxville Summer of 1915, Barber’s Hermit Songs, Berg’s ?Seven Early Songs, ?and Wagner’s ?Wesendonck Lieder.
Dr. Wallace holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in voice and musicology from the University of North Texas, a Bachelor of Music in voice from the Eastman School of Music and a Master of Music in voice and opera from the University of North Texas. She is currently on the voice faculty at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX.
