I am an artist living in the desert southwest and have always been drawn to the beauty in the landscapes, skies and architecture of this area. I love to spend my time expressing this in my artwork. I started painting in oil to capture the gorgeous colors. Later I added working with metals to better express the desert animals and culture of the ?native peoples. Copper and silver mirror the richness and warmth of the desert. Over time I have added working with turquoise and other rich colored stones. I have displayed my work in several local galleries, public buildings and at the local country club. I am member of Artists of Picacho Hills and participate in the group’s annual shows. I am also a member of Art Form and show my work at some of those events also. My painting mentor is Joe Ireland. I have studied under him for over ten years. I hope you enjoy my work.
