This is another exciting year in the life of quickly rising and emerging country artist Pearl Clarkin. You can find her playing in Music City and she tours nationally. Pearl is an acclaimed songwriter and performs regularly at prestigious writers rounds at the legendary Bluebird Cafe, Listening Room and is in high demand at all of the local and national songwriters festivals and conferences. She was recently compared to Bobbie Gentry by a major publisher while singing at Bluebird Cafe. Pearl has opened for many artists, and performed at the CMA Fest for the last 4 years at places like Storme Warren’s Nashville Navy with Michael Ray and others and on the CMA Hard Rock Stage outdoors with Jake Owen, Keith Whitley Jr. and a host of stars. Pearl headlined her own concert back home on Pensacola Beach before 4000 friends and fans and sings each year for the Pensacola Beach Songwriter’s Festival as well as others. You’ve seen her on GAC TV in Storme Warren’s Country on the Beach Key West Event with Montgomery Gentry and Craig Morgan. She also played at the World’s Largest Music Festival in Milwaukee at Summerfest as well as Bike Fest Daytona Beach.
Pearl is a young lady on the move and has already paved a progressive path forward in her young career. Pearl has already been named one of the top unsigned artists in the country by CMT by placing in their Music City Madness singer/songwriter contest. In 2016 she was one of four women chosen in a nationwide search to tour and record in The Highway Women, a band she still performs with. This past year she joined the executive team for the Highway Women at Victory Music Buzz Record label as the band leader. Pearl is considered a triple threat with a well respected and a loved voice in country music. She is an accomplished vocalist, spellbinding entertainer and an in-demand songwriter on the songwriting circuit. She is currently penning new music for The Highway Women’s upcoming EP. Pearl is a full-time Songwriting Major at Belmont University and she goes home to her tiny island in the Gulf of Mexico that she loves so much every chance she gets. Many of her songs are about the beach and Florida life like her signature song Alligator Walkin.
