Starting out in my 20’s as a photographic artist, I approach photography more as art than mere documentation. For me, it’s not enough to merely capture people and events, I must do it in the most gorgeous and creative way possible. It’s the only way I shoot. While photographing, I’m driven by creativity – mine and that of the people I’m shooting. Collaboration and the mixing and melding of ideas are what drive me. I love hearing your ideas and sharing mine with you, riffing off of each other, and when we combine, we can create something unique and gorgeous…..a piece of art, with you in it!
After every shoot I’m energized by the images I’ve taken and I spend hours and hours in Lightroom and Photoshop coaxing out the brilliance of each image, oftentimes while my dinner sits cold and forgotten. I’m a total nerd and love to play nerdy board games (Carcassone, Dominion, Pandemic, Settlers, etc) and equally nerdy indie computer games.
75% of my vehicals are motorcycles: my iron steeds are a ’76 Honda CB 400 that has been cafe’d, a sym wolf 150, and an ’85 Honda CMX 250. Although, when getting around Philly, I pretty much bicycle everywhere. I like nature! There’s nothing better than being blown away by a beautiful vista, mountains, waterfall, or whatever wonder nature throws in your path. I’m Lindsay, the owner and creator of Ginger Fox Photography, and I have the honor and pleasure of photographing everything from beautiful gay weddings, to elaborate corporate events, to creative musician portraits, architecture, and so much more.
I’m not a salesperson, pushy, or in your face. If you ask me if you need extra coverage hours or a second photographer for your event, I’m going to tell you honestly, not slant opinions in order to garner a larger fee. I don’t suggest things you don’t need. I always go above and beyond what’s required, even without being asked; and I live for when my clients tell me what an awesome experience it was to work with me and how much they love the images I produced.
