Kalie Shorr is a singer-songwriter from Portland, Maine who currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee. She is best known for her Youtube popularity, which boasts over one million views. Although she’s well known for her acoustic covers, her songwriting is her strongest skill. She pulls from all different genres to give her country sounding music a little bit of edge. She got her start playing 
Nirvana, Incubus, and Pearl Jam covers in a middle school band. Kalie is influenced by a lot of classic light rock, naming Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, and Bob Dylan as some of her favorites. She also loves newer country/indie acts such as the Civil Wars, Kacey Musgraves, The Steeldrivers, and Taylor Swift. She was the southern Maine winner of Maine’s Got Talent in 2010. She’s appeared/performed on numerous local news stations. She has also received attention from well-known gossip blogger Perez Hilton, who posted two of her original songs in his “Music Minute” category for new music. He even invited her to play at his personal birthday party, opening for bands such as The Backstreet Boys and Far East Movement.
