Jon Carr

Jon Carr, originally from Milledgeville, Georgia, now resides in Atlanta. Jon began his dance training at age fifteen and delved into choreography soon after. Jon strives to push creative boundaries and is now regionally and nationally known for his choreographic works. With a clear understanding of his artistry, Jon began choreographing at age eighteen. He is the recipient of numerous choreography awards and his dances continue to be top scoring routines at the regional and national level. Jon spends most of his time traveling across the southeast teaching master classes and choreographing. In 2011, Jon served on the staff of The Platinum Dance Experience Convention and now judges for multiple dance competitions around the United States. With his hunger to learn and grow, Jon continues to take classes from top choreographers and teachers. Jon currently teaches weekly classes at Studio 23 in Roswell, GA and CK DanceWorks in Dallas, GA. He continues to look for new opportunities in the dance community and to discover new ways of expression.
