Nicholas Elmi
Nicholas Elmi is the chef/owner of Royal Boucherie in Old City, Philadelphia. Since opening in November of 2017, this upscale addition to an historic neighborhood is host to several awards including three bells from award winning critic Craig Laban of the Philadelphia Inquirer and Philly’s Best Charcuterie from Philadelphia Magazine. For his award-winning flagship restaurant Laurel, Chef Elmi earned four bells (the highest possible) and was twice nominated as Best Chef Mid-Atlantic by the James Beard Foundation. Chef Elmi is a graduate of Culinary Institute of America and native of West Newbury, Massachusetts. Nicholas Elmi has worked in some of the top restaurants on the east coast (Le Bec Fin, Union Pacific, Oceana) and the world (Guy Savoy, Paris). Chef Nicholas Elmi and the staff of Royal Boucherie focus on French-inspired cuisine with a nod to regional flavors and tradition. Nicholas Elmi is the winner of Season 11 of Bravo’s Top Chef Series.
