Dash has been a professional singer for over a decade, possessing a deep, powerful, sultry voice.
Having relocated to the Hot Springs area, she is now performing with “Danville Road” and her jazz band, “Blue Jasmine”. Originally singing in a power pop band called Flight 101 in Los Angeles, she came full circle to perform Power Pop music throughout the Northern Nevada area with Xing Bridges, also known as “the Arteno Project”. An eclectic group of professional musicians, with years of performing many styles of music at various venues.
Prior to this and after performing in venues around the Reno /Tahoe area, she moved to Knoxville, Tennessee, to continue her music with the gifted arranger/pianist, Tom Johnson and was honored to sing with the great jazz pianist, Donald Brown and Sax legend Lance Owens. Returning to Reno she performed with some of the most professional and talented local musicians, being a featured performer at many popular Northern Nevada Jazz venues.
Linda has been a leader for live music in the Reno/Tahoe/Carson performing arts community, a Vice President & Executive Board member of the American Federation of Musicians, created and hosted the popular Jazz Jam sessions at the 3rd Street Blues night club and performed Jazz, blues, and soft Rock with her band, Blue Jasmine.
Linda is also phenomenal jazz/cabaret singer, with a deep, powerful, sultry voice that fills the heart of the listener with joy and anticipation. From a very young age, she has been deeply involved with music. As early as the first grade, she began singing on stage for school productions and special events. She soon became an active member of her church and school choir, as well as performing in many local plays, musicals and school concerts. After performing in small venues around the Reno / Tahoe area, she moved to Knoxville, Tennessee, to continue her music with the gifted arranger and talented pianist, Tom Johnson and was honored to sing with the great jazz pianist, Donald Brown and Sax legend Lance Owens. She returned to Reno where she performed with some of the most professional and talented local musicians, being a featured performer at many popular Northern Nevada Jazz venues that included EJ’s Jazz Cafe, Plan:b, The Hacienda, and Stew’s Brewery, The Plaza, 4 Pints, The Gold Hill Hotel, Piper’s Opera House, Thunder Canyon, Gold Canyon, The Sierra Arts Foundation, as well as public and private venues throughout the North West. Linda has been a leader for live music in the Reno performing arts community, a Vice President of the American Federation of Musicians (AFM) local 368 and also created and hosted the popular Jazz Jam sessions at the 3rd Street Blues night club. Not only does she have a strong stage presence, she is also a talented ballroom dancer. Her music passions are jazz, standards, ballads, blues, cabaret, but also include contemporary and soft rock. She is truly “A Singer With Style”.
