Nikki Kidd
A native of Miami Beach Florida, Nikki has been singing since the age of four. Performing through out Church and Elementary, Middle and High School Nikki’s talents and passion for performing were developed. Having come from such a background Nikki was well rounded in her musical tastes from Gospel in church Classical in school, and Reggae, Pop, Rock, and R&B from her parents. In High School Nikki was a vocalist in the Miami Beach High School Rock Ensemble led by Doug Burris, Rock Ensemble performed not only for the school but for private functions and competitions, Nikki learned a lot about stage presence and you can see that in the way she commands the crowd with not only her talent but with her energy and sincere love for the music. It wasn’t until entering the University of Miami where Nikki learned she had an ear for Jazz! Nikki went on to earn her Bachelors in Studio
Music and Jazz Voice degree as well as a Minor in Music Business at the University of Miami. At UM Nikki studied with critically acclaimed Jazz musicians and artists such as Kevin Mahogany, Kurt Elling and John Secada. After graduating Nikki has had the opportunity of working with the Florida Grand Opera and was involved in their production of Aida at the New Downtown Performing Arts Center in Miami, where she also sang background vocals for Gloria Estefan. Nikki aslo has sung background vocals for Michael Buble at the Hard Rock Casino.
