Mia Asano Herlinger
Mia Asano Herlinger (stage name Mia Asano) is a violinist from Denver, Colorado. Classically trained from the age of five, she developed a love for alternative styles of music early on and began performing at fashion shows around Denver at the age of fifteen. Asano plays a variety of alternative styles of music including rock, pop, jazz, funk, and fiddle on a 5-string electric violin. Blowing up in the Colorado fashion industry, Asano
began performing and modeling throughout her teenage years, also performing with youth orchestras at Carnegie Hall, Avery Fischer Hall and in Vienna, Austria, as well as on Colorado Public Radio and at NAAM in Los Angeles. Both as a solo artist and studio musician, Mia has taken the Denver music scene by storm, most recently signing with local bands Nordic Daughter and LaRissa Vienna and the Strange. Asano has also played with notable performers Lindsey Stirling, Devan Blake Jones, and in the Berklee College of Music Rock All Star Ensemble and Chamber Orchestra collecting over 500,000 views on Facebook and Youtube.
