Kristen Nichole

Kristen Nichole

Many great musicians got their start singing in the church choir and Kristen Nichole is no different. At the age of 6, she was offered her first solo and Kristen has been heard ever since. The Muskegon, MI native grew up performing in church and on other stages before attending Michigan State University where she continued to develop her craft. Kristen brings something new and fresh to the table while revitalizing what is already there. She lists some of her influences as Aaliyah, Toni Braxton and En Vogue and Kristen Nichole falls perfectly in line with them. She has collaborated with Detroit rappers Big Shan (We Maejor), Ro Spit, and Jwan (Finally Famous) but can hold her own like no other. In 2006, Kristen Nichole won Michigan State University’s Spartan Idol, a talent competition that helped her gain popularity at the Big Ten University. She is more than a voice; she has done commercial print modeling and has participated in several pageants, fashion and talent shows. In December 2009, Kristen was chosen as the runner-up of Southpole Clothing’s Fresh Face National Model Search, an opportunity that made her the company’s newest model for their print campaign. She then went on to tour doing background vocals and dancing professionally. Currently, Kristen Nichole continues to better herself as an all-around performer and is in the studio working on her solo project.
